Roman Horák

(Center, Vityaz Podolsk)

Roman's birthplace (1991-05-21) is the same as his hockey beginnings - České Budějovice. There he grew into a center of international standard. He was chosen in a 5th round as a 127th overall by New York Rangers in 2009. In the same year he left to Chilliwack where he was playing Western Hockey League for two seasons. Meanwhile the Rangers traded his rights to Calgary Flames. His first season in the National Hockey League wasn't bad but after that he was shuttling between the NHL and the AHL two more years. Now, he's one of the most valuable forwards in Vityaz Podolsk of the European KHL.

Horak played for the Czech Republic in four youth championships, twice for the U18 and twice for the U20. In 2010 he belonged in Top 3 players of his team in WJC. He has nine appearances in senior national team.
